In the database, each speaker has his/her own page, complete with photograph, quote and a brief summary of the presentation given at the symposium. On any specific page, a command panel gives you access to this speaker’s contribution, CV (including e-mail address where requested), related web links and, in some cases, books. All contributions are available in a printable PDF version, as well.

To move around within the database, you can either click on a name in the alphabetical speakers’ list or use one of several other modes of access. Additional modes of access to the database:
• You can take a look at the programme and click on any underlined speaker’s name.
• You can select one of 38 keywords.
• And you can carry out a search, selecting either a name, organisation, place, country, web link or case in the dialogue box.
To make full use of the CD’s features, your computer needs to be equipped with:
• Microsoft PowerPoint 98 or higher
• An Internet connection and a web browser
• e-mail software
• Adobe Acrobat Reader
• QuickTime Player
Future events organised by The Forum will also be recorded on a CD-ROM, using this database as a platform.
